3 cups flour
1 heaping tablespoon baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup(2 sticks) cold butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten, with
2 tsp. vanilla, and
1/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º

Whisk together flour, b.powder, and salt
Stir in sugar
Cut butter into dry ingredients (by hand or with
food processor) until pea-sized particles
Gradually add liquid (with fork or pulsing with
food processor) just until mixed
Roll or pat out on floured board to 1-1 1/2" thick
Cut in squares or rounds

Bake at 400º 20 to 25 min., upper third of oven.
