1 loaf Challah or French bread
1 stick butter
2T Karo syrup
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
11/2 cups Half& Half
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
Powdered

Directions:
Directions:
In a small heavy sauce pan melt butter,syrup and sugar and stir until smooth. Pour into a lightly greased 9x13 glass dish.
Cut or break bread into 3/4 inch pieces hand press on top of mixture. Whisk eggs, half &half, vanilla and salt in separate bowl and pour over dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Uncover and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm
