1 1/2 - 2lbs. Stew Beef
1 Can Cream Mushroom soup
1 Can Golden Mushroom soup
1 Can French Onion soup
1 onion quartered
3-4 potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
2 carrots peeled and cut into chunks
other vegetables as desired (mushrooms, peas, etc.)

1. Preheat oven to 325º
2. Mix stew beef and soups together in large oven safe pot.
3. Cook beef for 2 hours stirring occasionally.
4. Add onion, potatoes, carrots and any other vegetables you want. Cook for additional hour or until vegetables are tender.

Thick and tasty, great as a fall/winter dish served with warm rolls.

I have also seen this dish with just the stew beef served over noodles or mashed potatoes (not as a stew with vegetables.) In that case, cook less than 3 hours. This dish is NOT as good made in a Crock Pot.
