Ingredients:
2 large crisp apples (washed and dried)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg. Ghirardelli Chocolate or White Chocolate Chips
TOPPINGS:
Chopped pecans
Candy Red Hots
Sprinkles or colored sugar
Seasonal candy

Directions:
Directions:
Heat sweetened condensed milk on low heat until it reaches a slow boil and thickens while stirring constantly, taking care not to heat too quickly and scorch the milk. Place a metal fork or small knife into center of apple to use as a holder. Dip apple into the thickened milk and fully coat. This may require a spoon to assist the process. Once fully coated, place apple on a small plate and cool in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Heat chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave according to package. When all chips are melted, dip apples making sure all areas are coated with chocolate. Top with preferred toppings. Heavier items will need to be added after chocolate has started to set. Cool for at least 2 hours before cutting.
