1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
3-4 mashed ripe bananas
2 cups flour
1 t soda
1/4 t salt
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter, and eggs; add bananas and mix well. Sift together flour, soda, and salt and add to wet mixture before adding nuts. Mix well. Bake 1 hour (or until toothpick comes out clean) in well greased loaf pan at 350 º.
