CAKE:

3/4 cup butter (creamed)
2 eggs
2 tsps. vanilla
2 cups Presto cake flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk

CRUMBS:

1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 - 2 cups Presto cake flour
4 tsps. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake ingredients together until smooth and pour into greased cake pan. Mix crumbs mixture together and put on top of cake. Press crumbs down firmly. Bake at 375º for 35 - 45 minutes.

My mom made the best crumb cake! Sometimes she would double the recipe for the crumbs and make them really thick! YUM! I tried that twice but, unfortunately, I guess I got a little carried away with the crumbs because the first time, the crumbs were so heavy that sank to the bottom, so it was like upside down crumb cake, and the second time, the cake didn't cook. Of course that didn't stop me. I brought the first cake to my neighbor's the Nilans and they LOVED it! The second cake I took to my Pereira family and they wanted to know if there was pudding inside, lmao!
