"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Directions:
Mix the above ingredients. Take pot of boiling salt water. Make sure it is boiling rapidly. Take teaspoon and dip it into hot boiling water, then use it to pick up a teaspoon of the mixture and drop in into the water. If it forms a ball and comes up it's o.k. Keep adding mixture until finished. Stir. When all the spaetzles float to the top they are done. Strain into strainer. Put back in pot with no water. Put around 2 tbsp. butter and grated swiss cheese. Stir, and add more butter or swiss cheese to taste. You can fry any leftovers in butter the next day!
