1 can of beer

2 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. vinegar

Pinch of Rosemary

Pinch of bay leaf (about 2 leaves)

Directions:
Cover meat with cold water, bring to a boil. Lower heat to simmer, add beer, sugar, vinegar and spices. Simmer about 3 hours. Take out and slice a piece to see if it's done (meat should not be stringy). Cook longer if you like it stringy.

** Make sure meat is always covered with water, add boiling water as you go along if necesary and skim the water to take off the foam that the beer causes.
