4 chopped onions, chopped
1 1/2 C. Milk
4 Potatoes, cooked, diced and drained
1 medium Cabbage, steamed and coarsely chopped
1/2 C. Horseradish, prepared
1 t.Caraway
3 T. Margarine or butter
Salt and Pepper to taste

In a large covered saucepan simmer chopped onions and milk over low heat till onions are soft.
Cut head of cabbage into 2-4 pieces and steam till tender. Drain and chop when cooled a little.
Boil 4 potatoes, with or without skins, till tender. Drain and dice when cooled enough to handle.
Add diced potatoes and horseradish to onions and sprinkle in the caraway. Mash till potatoes are
coarsely mashed then add cabbage and stir till evenly mixed and serve.

If I use red or heirloom potatoes I leave the skins on, but I usually peal regular potatoes.
