2/3 cup unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. soft butter or shortening
1/3 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in the butter or shortening until crumbly. Stir in the milk only enough to moisten the dry ingredients.

Drop dough on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in a 450 degree oven. Serve with butter and jam.
