Directions:
On a grill on top of the stove place tomatoes and jalapeņos and allow them to toast until pretty much black. Turn continuously. When nice and toasted peel most of the skin off (I often leave a lot on because I like the texture and color). Start breaking down the garlic along with salt and pepper. Use your rock to pound and break it down. now add your peppers and smash them down. Start smashing down the tomatoes. Now add the onions and cilantor and a little salt if needed. My true Mexican is coming out in me. Eat your heart out Larry!

Personal Notes:
This is one of those authentic hot salsas made from scratch on an old molesters. A molcajete is made of stone. Truthfully, making salsa in a molcajete taste better than when made in a blender. Be sure to purchase your molcajete in a Mexican store and ask if it is purified and cleaned. This means they remove all excess rocks and stones so that they won't come lose while making your salsa. If not do not purchase it.
