8 cups unsifted flour (can use half whole wheat)
1/4 cup baking powder
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp salt
1&1/3 cups powdered milk
2/3 cup canola oil OR 3/4 cup butter or shortening

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and powdered milk. Drizzle oil over dry ingredients or add butter or shortening; cut in with pastry blender until it resembles coarse cornmeal. Store covered in refrigerator. Use within 3 months. Yield approx. 10 cups

To measure mix for recipes, stir lightly, pile into cup (do not shake), and level off. Use for Master Mix recipes in this cookbook or any recipe calling for Bisquick.

One of the fun things about being a foster parent is mentoring the biological parents in basic household skills. As part of the cooking program, we took the Cent$ible Nutrition Program classes & received the cookbook using the Master & Magic Mixes.
