Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 chocolate cake mix (I use cheap cake mix – store brands)

1 small box instant chocolate pudding mix **

* eggs ( used extra large)

*1/3 cups water

1 stick real butter (salted)

Frosting:

1 large (8oz) cream cheese softened

½ stick real butter (softened)

Powdered sugar ( box or bag)

1 tsp vanilla

1 tablespoon milk (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
*Actually, I use the directions on the cake mix box for the amount of water and eggs to use (as well as the temperature of the oven) and I substitute 1 stick of real butter for the oil.

In mixing bowl, mix according to package directions. At the end of the mixing time, add the instant pudding mix and mix until blended. Mixture will get thick after adding the instant pudding.

Place in pan and bake according to package directions.

Frosting:

Mix softened butter and softened cream cheese together in medium size bowl. Add Powdered sugar, vanilla and milk and beat with mixer until smooth and creamy. If too soft, add more sugar.

**This recipe can also be used for other flavors of cake mix. For yellow cake use vanilla pudding, banana cake use banana instant pudding, etc.
