Cake:

Bring to boil
1 cup water
2 sticks butter(real)
4 T. cocoa*

Mix into:
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Add:

2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk

Frosting:

Bring to boil:
4 tbsp. cocaoa
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Cake: Mix all ingredients as show in recipe and pour into greased jelly roll pan and bake 15-20 minutes at 350.

*For Vanilla cake, substitute sour cream for buttermilk and omit cocoa.

Frosting:

bring to boil first 4 ingrediets and mix into 1 box pwd sugar. Pour over cake and spread evenly.

Sprinkle chopped pecans on top (optional)
