1 lb ground turkey
1 lb Johnsonville or another brand Italian sausage
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 diced red pepper (med)
1 diced yellow pepper (med)
1 large onion diced
1 large bottle Prego sauce (plain or meat flavored)
1 pkg fresh basil from produce section chopped (Use fresh, it makes a difference) or approx. 1/2 cup chopped
1 T salt (or to taste)
1-2 tsp pepper
2 cloves garlic minced or 1 tsp minced garlic in jar
2 T. sugar (or to taste)

Directions:
In large pot brown turkey and sausage; drain.
Add all other ingredients and simmer for at least an hour. Can be done in crock pot but more time needed to cook.
