2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. stewing beef, cut in small chunks
2 c. thinly sliced carrots
2 c. sliced mushrooms
1 onion, diced
2 ribs of celery, thinly sliced
1-14oz. tin diced tomatoes (I use AccentŠ original)
3 cartons of beef broth
1 c. pearl barley
1 c. frozen peas
1 c. frozen lima beans
1 c. frozen green beans
1 c. frozen corn
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. dried basil

Directions:
Directions:
Saute garlic and beef in 1 tsp. oil until brown. Add everything else and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are done.
