2 cans sour pitted cherries You’ll find them by cherry pie filling in the baking needs aisle. Not all stores have them.

1 1/3 cups granulated sugar

3/4 cup flour

˝ stick butter

1 box Pillsbury ready made pie crusts (red box by the biscuits) or homemade pie crust recipe

Directions:
Let crusts get room temperature so they are easier to unroll without splitting. Unroll one crust and place in the bottom of a 9 or 10 inch pie pan.

In a large bowl mix sugar and flour together. Add cherries WITH juice from one can of cherries and mix til coated.

Pour cherry mixture into bottom pie shell. Dot with butter.

Place second crust on top of the pie and crimp edges. Put vent holes in the top crust as it will bubble.

Bake in 425 degree oven for 45-50 minutes. Completely cool before cutting.

You can use any favorite 2 crust pie crust recipe.

Bake on cookie sheet or put aluminum foil under pie plate to catch drips.
