2 sticks butter
1 tsp salt
3/4 c. light brown sugar
2 1/4 - 2 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Cream sugar and butter, add salt then work in flour. divide dough in half. On ungreased cookie sheet, pat dough into 2, 7" circles, 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick. With fork, gently press edges of circle, then prick circles into 16 pie shaped wedges, each. Bake approx 30 min. in 300º oven. Remove from oven and while still warm, using a thin blade knife, press down on pricked lines. Let cool, and then break apart at lines.
