Ingredients:  
1 C. rice, cooked according to type, brown or white.
2 T. Bacon grease or Veg. Oil
1/2 lb. of cheapest pork available, cubed.
1/2 med. onion chopped
4 strips of cooked bacon
Soy Sauce to taste
1/4 C. slivered almonds browned
1/4 C. chopped green onion tops

Optional ingredients : Peas, chopped water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, mushrooms or carrots.

Cook rice according to type.
In a dry cast iron skillet or under broiler, brown almond slivers till golden. Set aside.
In a medium skillet fry pork, onions and any optional choices in grease/oil till pork and onions are browned and done. Sprinkle with Soy Sauce to your liking (1-4 T.), and add almonds and green onion tops.
Remove and enjoy!
