6 eggs
2 cups powdered sugar
Nutmeg
Rum or Brandy
Hot Water
Directions:
Directions:
Separate the eggs whites and yolks.
Beat the six (6) egg whites until stiff.
Add 2 cups of powdered sugar (or more to taste)
Beat yolks and slowly beat into the mixture.
Add a shot of brandy or rum into the bottom of a large mug.
Fill the mug 1/2 way with hot water. Mix the rum or brandy into the water.
Fill the remaining part of the mug with the egg batter.
Sprinkle with nutmeg on the top.

This was always a Christmas tradition in our house. The grown ups drank the full version while the kids loved the sweet batter.
The drink is messy and to get the warm water and rum you have to take a large drink. You will be sure to have a Tom and Jerry mustache.
