1 cup water
2 cups raisins
1 cup shortening
2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Boil for 5 min 1c water & 2c raisins
cream 1c shortening, 2c sugar. Add 3 eggs, raisin mix and 1tsp vanilla. Mix in 4c flour, 1tsp baking powder, 1tsp baking soda, 1-½ tsp cinnamon, ½tsp nutmeg and ¼tsp allspice. Drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 400º for 10-12 minutes
