1 cup pecans
1 cup almonds
8 cups popcorn
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/2 tsp creme of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Spread nuts on cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes at 300º
Mix popcorn and nuts
In saucepan combine sugar, margarine, corn syrup and cream of tartar over medium heat. Boil to hard ball stage, remove from heat. Stir in baking soda and vanilla, Pour mix over popcorn and nuts, spread on flat pan or waxed paper, let harden overnight. Break into small pieces.
