Crust:
1 c flour
1 c oats
1 c brown sugar
1 t baking soda
1/2 c butter, softened
Filling:
2 eggs
1 c brown sugar
1/2 t vanilla extract
1 T flour
1 t baking powder
1 c coconut
2 - 10 oz jars maraschino cherries, drained, chopped
1/2 c chopped pecans
Icing: optional
1/3 c butter, softened
1/2 t vanilla extract
3 c powdered sugar
4 T milk

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda in mixing bowl. cut in butter until crumbly. Press into 9x13" pan and bake in 350 oven for 10 minutes.**Filling: beat eggs, brown sugar and vanilla together thoroughly. Combine Flour and baking powder; stir into egg mixture, mixing well. Stir in coconut, cherries, and pecans. Spread filling evenly over partially baked crust. Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until bars are lightly browned. Let cool completely. **Icing: prepare icing by combining butter, vanilla, sugar, and milk. Beat until smooth and creamy. Drizzle over bars.
