2 Ahi Tuna steaks
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 small onion
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup red wine or cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in olive oil over med-high heat for 5 minutes until soft. Reduce heat to med-low, cooking onions until caramelized. Remove oinion from pan.

Add tuna steaks to the pan, searing on each side for 1-2 minutes. Remove tuna from pan.

Add vinegar and sugar, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add onion back to pan and simmer until sauce is slighlty thickened, approximately 5 minutes. Return tuna steaks to the pan and simmer for another 3-5 minutes.

Serve with caramelized onion and a drizzle of sauce.
