• 2 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine, melted
• 2 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon(s) salt
• 1 teaspoon(s) coarsely ground black pepper
• 1 whole(s) (5-pound) beef tenderloin, trimmed and tied

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. In small bowl, combine butter, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Brush mixture on tenderloin.
2. Place tenderloin in 15 1/2-inch by 10 1/2-inch jelly-roll pan and roast until meat thermometer inserted in center of meat reaches 140 degrees F, about 50 minutes. Internal temperature of meat will rise to 145 degrees F (medium) upon standing. Or roast until desired doneness.
3. Transfer tenderloin to warm platter and let stand 15 minutes to set juices for easier slicing.
