Three Cheese French Onion Soup Recipe

2 large red onions thinly sliced
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1-14oz chicken broth
3 cups water
1 package onion soup mix
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp worcestershire
1/2 tsp garlic powder
7 slices french bread
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup grated parmesan

Saute onions in butter until tender. Add broth, water, soup mix, pepper, worcestshire and garlic.
Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Place bread on baking sheet, sprinkle with swiss and mozzarella. Broil til melted. Ladle soup into bowls, top with bread and sprinkle with parmesan
