1 1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Measure and sift together dry ingredients. Cream butter and peanut butter. Add sugar and cream together. Add egg and vanilla. Slowly add dry ingredients. Refrigerate dough until it is easy to roll into 1 inch balls. Roll in white sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Flatten by making crisscross marks with the tines of a fork.

Bake in a 350 to 375º F oven for 7 to 9 minutes or till bottoms are lightly browned. Makes about 36 cookies
