1 pound ground lean pork
1 pound of ground beef
1 medium onion,minced
3/4 cup boiling water
2 garlic cloves,chopped
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
pinch of summer savoury

3 med sized potatoes

Directions:

Combine ingredients in a heavy 3 quart saucepan

Cook over low heat,stirring constantly, until meat loses its red colour and about half the liquid has evaporated.Cover and cook about 45 minutes longer.

Meanwhile boil and mash - 3 med sized potatoes

Mix mashed potatoes into cooked meat mixture.Cool
Preheat oven to 450.

Prepare sufficient pastry for a 2 crust 9 inch pie. Roll out half and line a deep 9 inch pie plate. Fill with cooled meat mixture. Roll out remainder of dough and place over pie. Flute and seal edges and slash top crust.

Bake in 450 oven for 10 minutes. Reheat heat to 350 and bake for 30 to 40 minutes longer
