1 lb butter
2/3 cup fruit sugar

4 cups flour
1/2 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar ,cream well

Blend in 4 cups of flour remove from bowl then kneed in 1/2 cup flour

Roll out or put out the dough to 1/2 - 3/4 thick then cut with small cookie cutters.

Bake in 225 oven for 3/4 hour or more.check bottom for brownness.

Do not let shortbread get brown. Shortbread is not to be baked but to dry out only.
