2 pkgs. (4-serving size) Pistachio Instant Pudding
& Pie Filling
2 cans (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) tub Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the pudding, pineapple with juice, pecans, and marshmallows in a large bowl. Add Cool Whip and stir gently until ingredients are blended.

Refrigerate. Stir once more before serving

This recipe became popular in the early 1970's when Jello introduced this new flavor. It was originally called Pistachio Delight, but maybe picked up this name from the political scandal of the time. Or maybe from the Watergate Hotel.
