2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp thyme
2 tbsp milk
1/8 tsp pepper
oysters

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except oysters and beat slightly.put oysters in a pot of cold water and bring to a boil.Remove immediately and set aside.Heat oil (1/4 deep) or 2 tbsp butter in heavy frying pan.Dip oysters in batter and roll in oatmeal(scotch) and place in single layer in fry pan.Cook until golden brown then place on paper towel to drain.Serve with tarter sauce or sauce of choice.
