1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp dry mustard

When ham is cooked,cut or peel off skin.Using a sharp knife,score surface by cutting about 1/4 inch deep in 1 to 1 1/2 inch diamonds.Increase oven heat to 500, brush surface of ham with 1/2 cup corn syrup or honey ,combine the brown sugar,flour and mustard with enough vinegar to make a thick paste.Spread over surface of ham.If desired,fasten maraschino cherries and pineapple slices with toothpicks.Place in oven for 10 to 15 minutes to brown glaze,basting frequently with the syrup and sugar mixture that drips into the pan.Remove from the oven and continue to baste for 10 minutes. This recipe is for a whole 2 to 15 pound ham. Reduce quantities for smaller hams.
