Personal Notes:
To learn more about "Mrs. T" (whose given name was Myra) see the notes for the cabbage soup recipe! She was a somewhat boisterous cook who didn't like to measure things much. Pop loved her dearly, and also her brother, his Uncle Beanie, who brought the children large tins of marshmallows whenever he came to visit.
