Ingredients:  
1 cup + 2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 3/4 tsp salt
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup whole milk
1/4 cup minced mixed herbs (varies with what you're serving it with)
1 stick of butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, except the herbs together. Push through a strainer with large holes, or use a spaetzle maker into boiling water (1/2 batch at a time). Remove from boiling water when it floats to the top. Place in a cold water bath until rest of the meal is just about done. Then, melt the butter in a large saute pan, add the herbs and cook a few minutes. Add the spaetzle and cook until warm. Serve immediately.
