1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. uncooked oats (either quick or regular)
1 c. nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs. Mix flour, salt, soda and cinnamon and add to liquid. Mix oats and nuts in.
Drop by spoonsful onto baking sheet.

Bake at for 10 minutes at 325º.
