6 medium fresh medium carrots, sliced or 3 c. frozen
1 medium apple, cored and sliced
1 t. cornstarch
2 T. brown sugar
2 T. butter
1/4 c. orange juice
1/4 t. ginger or small amount of curry

Directions:
Directions:
Cook fresh carrots, covered, in boiling salted water for 15 minutes or until tender. Cook frozen carrots according to package directions.
Mix butter, sugar, cornstarch, orange juice, and ginger and heat until butter has melted. Add apple slices and cook until tender. Add carrots and heat. Can be put in low oven for short time.
