3 medium potatoes (I use golden), 1 small sweet onion, 1 cup milk, butter, salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Peal and slice potatoes thinly, slice onion thinly. Put in casserole dish in layers with salt, pepper and dots of butter between each layer. Cover with milk. Bake at 275 for 1 1/2 hours covered with aluminum foil. Remove foil and brown for 30 minutes.
