Ingredients:
Ingredients:
15 oz. can fried apples with cinnamon (1 can equals 8 pies)
Flour
Crisco
Pillsbury buttermilk canned biscuits (do not use butter flavored)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover work surface with light coating of flour. Put biscuit in center and roll out flat (the size of a saucer). Put about 1 - 2 teaspoons of apples on 1/2 of the dough circle. Don't put close to the edge. Dab edge of dough with water. Fold dough over and press edges with edge of fork. Poke holes in top of turnover with fork. Flip pie over and repeat. Spray an iron skillet with cooking spray. Put enough cooking oil to cover bottom of skillet plus a little more. Cook on medium heat. Make sure oil is hot by dropping a small piece of dough in the oil. When oil is hot, put pies in and cook approximately 1 minute. Flip the pies and repeat. Do this till done. Only cook 2 pies at a time in skillet. Frying the pies doesn't take long to cook. You almost flip the pies over as fast as you put them in skillet.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Too much water around edge of dough will cause edge to be crisp.
Don’t put too much flour on work surface. Don’t roll dough too thin.
