Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Layer 1
1 cup of Oatmeal (I use the Regular or Old Fashion Oatmeal)
1 cup of Flour
¾ cup of Margarine or Butter (melted)
¾ cup of Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
Layer 2
32 Caramel Squares
3 Tablespoons of Margarine or Butter
3 Tablespoons of Milk
Layer 3
1/2 of layer 1 recipe
1 -16 oz bag of Milk Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
For layer 1: Mix together and spread mixture (press down if needed) at the bottom of
a lightly greased 9x11 pan.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until top is golden brown.

For layer 2:
Melt caramels, margarine and milk together over medium stove heat.
Stir and mix well so mixture will not melt on the bottom of the pot.
When caramels, margarine are melted and mixed well pour over the
baked (cooled) oatmeal crust.
DO NOT POUR CARAMEL MIXTURE OVER OATMEAL CRUST when
crust is HOT.

For layer 3:
Sprinkle chocolate chips (and nuts) over caramel mixture

Take the above crust recipe and cut the ingredients in half. Mix
ingredients together and sprinkle over the chocolate chips. It will not
cover all of the chocolate chips so spread evenly with some gaps in-
between. If it is easier for you to just make the crust once you can. Just
make sure you 1 and 1/2 the above crust recipe so you have enough to
sprinkle on top)

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top
