Ingredients:  
2 cups flour,
3/4 cup melted butter or Crisco oil,
2 eggs,
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3 cups coarsely chopped apples
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup chocolate chips (you can double this if you do not want to add nuts)

Directions:
Directions:
1. sift together flour, cinnamon and baking soda and set aside.
2. In a separate bowl mix oil, sugar ad eggs well.
3. Add the vanilla, nuts and chocolate chips to the mixture.
4. Add this to the flour mixture
5. Then fold in the apples
6. Mixture will be very thick
7. put in a 14 by 20 inch greased pan and spread evenly
8. Bake 325 for 45 minutes to one hour or until done.
