1 C shortening
1 C sugar
1 C brown sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ tsp vanilla.
1 ½ C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 C rolled oats (uncooked)
1 C chopped pecans
1 C chocolate chips, or butterscotch, or peanut butter chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars together; add eggs and vanilla.
Mix together flour, soda and salt.
Add slowly to cream mixture.
Then add remaining ingredients slowly.

Drop by spoonful on well greased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degree for 10 minutes.
