3½ c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1½ tsp. salt
2 T. nutmeg
3 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
2 c. canned pumpkin
⅔ c. water
1 c. chopped pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º. Sift dry ingredients into large mixing bowl. Make a well.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl then pour into well.
3. Mix thoroughly and pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
4. Bake for 1 hour. Cool slightly and remove from pan to wire rack.
5. Cool completely before slicing.
