1/2 cup melted butter
1 egg
3/4 cup sugar
3 bananas, mashed
1/2 sour milk*
2 cups flour
1 & 1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts (op)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix melted butter, egg and sugar. Add mashed bananas and sour milk. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in nuts if desired. Bake in loaf pan at 325º for 1 hour.

*If sour milk is unavailable, add 1/2 T. vinegar to 1/2 cup milk and set aside. When ready to add to recipe, stir first.

I like this recipe because it calls for whole bananas, not "X number" of cups of mashed bananas. It's easy to tell if I have enough for a loaf or two.
