Ingredients:
ºOld fashioned rolled oats 1 /1/2 cup
light brown sugar l cup
light corn syrup 1/4 cup
all purpose flour 2 tbsp
butter - one & 1/4 sticks

Directions:
ºPreheat oven to 350 degreesº
Lightly grease two or three cookie sheets.
In a sauce pan, over medium heat, place the butter
and bring to a boil. Keep stirring and watching until
it turns a light brown on the bottom ( 3 to 4 min.)
Do not let it burn, or it can't be used.
Remove and reserve to a bowl.
Blend with the pre-measured sugar, syrup, oats,
flour, milk, seasoning & pinch of salt.
Drop batter in scant 1/3 tsp. on sheets, leaving
about 2 inches or so between each as these
spread a considerable distance.
Bake until golden brown...6 to 8 minutes,
rotating sheet for even browning.
Using a long, thin spatula, remove and cool
on wire racks.
These are thin, fragile, crisp cookies and
finish up looking like lace.

When my sister-in-law made these they disappeared so fast.
Not only are they healthy, they're delicious!
