Combine in a sauce pan:
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup light syrup (Kayro)
1/3 cup water
2 T. vinegar

Boil to hard crack stage. Add your choice of flavoring-cinnamon, cherry, lemon extract etc. and coloring of your choice. Pour or drop onto buttered cookie sheet.
