1 cup granulated white sugar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup corn syrup
3 tablespoons butter
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate or 1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 quarts salted popped corn

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan, combine water, sugar and syrup together; bring to a boil. Stir in butter. When butter has melted, add chocolate.
Cook, stirring constantly, until soft ball stage is reached on candy thermometer (238-240°F). Pour over popcorn and toss until well coated
