1.5 lb. egg noodles, cooked and drained
6 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 lb. butter,melted
1.5 tsp. vanilla
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 lb. sour cream
2 lb cottage cheese
4-6 cups of apples, chopped
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:

Cook noodles and drain. Whip eggs and sugar together. Add vanilla, milk, heavy cream and butter. Whip together about 2 minutes. Add sour cream and cottage cheese. Whip until smooth. Fold in apples. Pour into a buttered deep dish about 9 x 12 x 3. This will be enough for at least two. Sprinkle top with cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake at 400º for 20-25 minutes. Cover with foil and turn temperature down to 350º and continue baking for about an hour. Kugel is done when center is set. Cool. May be eaten warm or cold.
