1/4 cup sugar or Splenda
1/4 cup water
3 1/2 cup pink grapefruit juice (with no sugar added)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp vodka
Champagne or Asti Spumante
Mint for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water & sugar in med. bowl. Heat in microwave on high for 20 seconds. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Cool.
Whisk in juices & vodka.
Pour into metal 9 x 13" baking pan. Cover & freeze until completely frozen, at least 4 hours.
To serve, with back of large serving spoon, press down on surface of granita to break into large flakes.
Transfer flakes to chilled glasses. Pour champagne over granita & garnish with mint.
