1 cup sugar
5 tbsp butter, melted
2 cups pecan halves
3 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
2 tsp dark rum
1 - 9 inch deep dish pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In a large bowl, mix sugar and butter until well combined. Add pecans, eggs, corn syrup and rum, and stir until well-combined. Place unbaked pie shell on 15 x 10 jelly-roll pan, then pour pecan mixture into shell. Bake 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º and bake 37-40 minutes longer or until filling is set around edge, but center jiggles slightly. Cool completely on wire rack.
