- 250 gms peeled shrimps
- 1 big onion - minced
- ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- grind together - 1 full TSP of chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper, garam masala & little turmeric
- cashewnuts - 50 gms - grind
- tomato paste - 1 - 11/2 tbsp
- coriander leaves to garnish

saute onion in 1 tbps of BUTTER and 1/2 tbsp of oil (use both - the butter gives it a very distinct flavour) till GOLDEN BROWN.
Add ginger garlic paste - saute nicely, add the ground mix of powders - saute nicely, add tomato paste and little coriander leaves - saute nicely again, add the shrimps salt to taste, and close and keep till shrimp is just cooked, add the cashew as well, little water and close and keep for another 3 - 4 minutes - Keep it closed for a while after taking off the fire - to get the masala coated nicely on the shrimps. Garnish with coriander
